After-Party Cleaning in Prague: What to Expect and How Much It Costs

A corporate party, Christmas event, product launch or team-building session — the morning after, someone has to clean up. If you think your regular cleaner will handle it as part of their standard visit, you probably haven't experienced a proper office party yet. After-party cleaning is a separate category with its own specifics, pricing and time requirements.

What Does After-Party Office Cleaning Include?

Unlike regular cleaning, after-party cleaning deals with:

• Removing food and drink remnants — including carpet and upholstery stains
• Washing up glasses, plates and cutlery (or sorting for collection)
• Rubbish removal — typically 2–5× more than normal
• Cleaning the kitchen area and bar counter
• Disinfecting bathrooms after heavy use
• Moving furniture back to its original configuration
• Cleaning floors from footprints, spilled drinks and confetti
• Cleaning fingerprints from windows where needed

After-Party Cleaning Prices in Prague (2026)

The price depends on the scale of the event and the size of the space:

• Small office up to 100 m², up to 30 guests: CZK 2,500–4,500
• Medium office 100–300 m², 30–80 guests: CZK 4,000–8,000
• Large space 300+ m², 80+ guests: from CZK 7,000, individual quote
• Weekend or public holiday surcharge: 20–30%
• Express booking surcharge (less than 24 hours notice): 15–25%

When to Book After-Party Cleaning

Ideally at least 48–72 hours in advance. Fridays and Saturdays are the busiest slots, especially in December. For Christmas parties we recommend booking cleaning no later than early November — capacity fills up fast.

If you need the office cleaned the same night after the event (so it's fully functional first thing in the morning), mention this when enquiring. We offer night cleaning without surcharge when agreed in advance.

What Standard After-Party Cleaning Does Not Include

To avoid misunderstandings: standard after-party cleaning does not include:

• Laundering textiles (tablecloths, chair covers) — can be added on or arranged via hostwash.cz
• Collecting and disposing of hired equipment
• Deep machine carpet cleaning (must be booked separately)

Tips for Corporate Event Organisers

1. Book cleaning at the same time you book the venue — many venues guarantee the space but not the clean-up.
2. Give the cleaning company the contact of the organiser who will be present the morning after.
3. If the party spans multiple rooms, include a floor plan or description with your enquiry.
4. State whether there will be a catering team with their own staff (this significantly affects the scope of work).
